Crystals that should avoid sunlight

Today we are going to talk about some of the crystals and stones that should avoid direct sunlight. Just like some stones that can become damaged from salt water there are some crystals and stones that will fade and even become brittle and break if given to much exposure to direct sunlight. Here we have compiled a list of some crystals and stones that will fade with full UV exposure. If you do wish to use the sun as a form of cleansing and re charging then we recommend you do so in short amounts of time and not in direct sunlight or the hottest times of the day. The following are crystals that will fade in direct sunlight,
Ametrine, Aventurine, Apatite, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Beryl, Citrine, Calcite, Celestite, Chrysoprase, Kunzite, Sapphire, Fluorite, Rose Quartz, and Smokey Quartz.
If you are ever in doubt please use an alternative method of cleansing such as the full moon.
